He founded and directed the first Nigerian Health Students' Summit (NHESS) in 2019... He is a member of the Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) Nigeria and the African Federation of Emergency Medicine (AFEM). He was the Pioneer Vice president internal of Incision Nigeria (2020/2021) and the Pioneer President of the Benue State Medical Students Association (BEMSA), Bingham University Chapter. He created the COVID-19 programs, media and research social media teams which help scrutinize and create refined information on COVID-19 in Africa. He is the Co-director of the Africa Healthcare Students' Summit (AHESS) and moderated the first AHESS international panel on SRHR.He is a clinical and theoretical researcher in the fields of Nephrology, Surgery and Reproductive Health with published papers in international peer review journals with more than 100 international mentions in published scientific papers. His research work on comprehensive sexual education in Africa was recently accepted by the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FIGO) for presentation at the FIGO World Congress in Sydney, Australia this year (2021).He spoke at the 33rd Federation of African Medical Students Associations GA and Scientific Conference (Kenya - 2020) on the role of youths in sexual reproductive health and rights, and the 34th; on utilization in promotional of comprehensive sexual education in Africa (Uganda - 2021).He currently serves as the Vice president External on the International Students Surgical Network (Incision) Nigeria. He was recently selected amongst about 100 applicants to be on the IFMSA/FAMSA SWG HPV research and campaign vaccination team.He was recently appointed the Director of Research and Develpment by the Sauzar Health Foundation (SHF).He is a performer with skills in dancing, singing and poetry. He has published poetry works nationally and internationally. He has won awards such as most talented medical student in Bingham university, DOAM'S most talented medical student in Nigeria and was on the top 10 finalists globally in the first category of the World Youths NTDs competition. He has also won on all expense paid scholarship to the International Global Surgical Symposium (IGSS) - Colombia in 2020. He was on the 4-man team that won the innovation to action Global Health Challenge; The Mending Minds. He also came first place in the just concluded Tush Magazine writing contest. He was awarded a Banki Moon Centre (BKMC) Scholarship to attend the Ghent University Summer School on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right courses. He is a final year medical student Bingham University, Nigeria.
She is a medical doctor with background and expertise in clinical research and interests in surgical oncology... She is a childhood cancer advocate and research enthusiast. She has published over 20 clinical and academic papers in peer-reviewed journals, provided content writing and editing for over 100 manuscripts and made presentations in both local and international, academic and non-academic conferences. She has overseen over 50 research projects aimed at improving the outcomes of patients living with cancer in Nigeria.She is an outspoken advocate about increased medical research involvement even at an undergraduate level. Opeyemi's current work focuses on the intersection between clinical oncology practice and the development of sustainable systems for clinical and academic research in developing countries.Along with sitting on the boards of other firms, Opeyemi is the founder and director of Research Hub; an organization that employs and trains over 200 university students and young doctors in early career research while providing funds for indigent students in Nigeria Universities.She is the research coordinator at the Dorcas Cancer Foundation that has provided free cancer treatments and support children living with cancer in Nigeria and their families as they go through the cancer journey.Opeyemi is the the recipient of the IASP PHARMA Excellence awards for Africa Health Start-up company of the year for 2020, the Royal African Young Leadership Award for 2021 and the Eponym for the Awofeso Young Researcher Award (AYRA).
